Canterbury Eagles against racism

The appalling racist abuse hurled at Marcus Rashford, Bukayo Saka and Jadon Sancho following England’s loss in the Euro final against Italy, unfortunately demonstrates the racism that still exists within our country.

At Canterbury Eagles we salute these three young lions and are proud to support their anti-racist stance. Our values of inclusivity and equality echo theirs and that of the entire England squad. It is always important to stand up for what is right, on and off the pitch.

There is no place for racism in any civilised society and by working together we can help to drown out the voices of hate that seek to damage and divide us.
