Sponsorship and Grants Officer
Overview
Raising funds to support the development of our club is vital to our continued growth, supplementing the income generated from membership fees. We are looking for an individual who can support the continued development of this function within the club across commercial sponsorship and grants.
The role will be responsible for identifying and applying for appropriate grants from regional and national organisations, such as Kent FA and Sport England. Ideally, you will have previous experience writing applications for funding.
The club is very proud of the broad range of local businesses currently sponsoring the club. The Sponsorship and Grants Officer will maintain and grow our excellent network of commercial sponsors, ensuring sponsorship arrangements are renewed on expiry, developing new sponsorship packages and seeking new ways of ensuring our sponsors see the benefits of their association with Canterbury Eagles.
This role would be ideal for a confident, imaginative individual with strong entrepreneurial instincts, contacts in the local business community and some experience writing grant applications.
