Registration and Membership Officer
Overview
The Registration and Membership Officer will support the Club Secretary and committee in processing annual player registrations, predominantly at the start of the season, and support players, via team coaches, with any registration queries during the process.
The role is split between the junior (U8 to U11) teams and the senior (U12 to adult) teams with officers in each position.
The role will involve checking players’ monthly payments are up to date and communicating any late payments to the relevant team manager and/or team administrator.
The role may also be required to provide support in creating and managing events on our event platform, Native. These include occasional events, such as presentation nights, or ongoing clubs, such as Saturday Soccer, Wildcats and Club Futsal.
Key duties
Registering players with the club and teams before, and during, the season
Support the club, teams and players with issue resolution
Report, monthly, any outstanding membership fees to the club and teams
Support in creating and managing ad hoc events on our event platform
Expected hours of the role (per week)
The role’s involvement will vary considerably; the majority of registrations will occur during August with checks on membership fees occurring monthly. It is expected to average about 2 -3 hours per week over the season with the majority occurring in August and September.
