The kit’s a big hit

Last Friday night’s training session had an extra piece of action thrown in, with the arrival of the new club kits. Complete with sponsor names and logos, each Eagles team can now stride onto the pitch looking like pros with matching strips of green shirts, black shorts and black socks. Our goalkeepers are standing out from the crowd in bright orange, and there’s also a blue training shirt that can be worn at away clashes if we come up against anyone else in green!

Grinning in green. Two U10s players clearly pleased with the new kit!

All the kids (and managers) are over the moon with their new shirts and it’s brilliant that we now have teams across all age groups playing in matching kits. Thanks goes to all of our sponsors for making this possible, and to our supplier, 3Q who are also sponsoring our U21s.

Local Visitor

We were pleased to welcome Gill Gower, Labour Councillor for Westgate, at our training session too. Gill popped along to find out more about us and our work within the community and joined in with our new kit photo shoot.

Used Shirts

The old kits worn by the Eagles won’t be going to waste. We’re currently looking into donating them to a charity that helps poverty-stricken children in The Gambia. There’ll be more news on this in the coming months.
